Upon your arrival at Sauraha Bus Park, Tadi, or Bharatpur Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your jungle resort. After check-in, you will be served refreshing drinks and receive a short briefing about the safari program and resort facilities. Your room will then be assigned, allowing you time to relax before the activities begin.
Around midday, enjoy a delicious lunch at the resort (approximately 13:00–13:30).
In the afternoon (15:00 hrs), begin your cultural exploration with a guided visit to a traditional Tharu village. This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn about the lifestyle, customs, architecture, and agricultural practices of the indigenous Tharu community, who are known for their deep connection with the Chitwan region.
Later, proceed to the Chitwan National Park Visitor Center, where you will gain insight into the park’s biodiversity, conservation efforts, and wildlife species, including the one-horned rhinoceros and Bengal tiger.
In the evening, enjoy a peaceful sunset view from the banks of the Rapti River. At around 19:00 hrs, you will be entertained by a vibrant Tharu cultural dance performance, showcasing traditional music, costumes, and stick dances. Guests are often invited to participate.
Dinner will be served at 20:00 hrs, followed by overnight stay at the resort.

At 07:00 hrs, begin your jungle adventure with a canoe ride on the Rapti River. This peaceful boat ride offers excellent bird-watching opportunities and sightings of two rare crocodile species: the marsh mugger and the endangered gharial. After the canoe ride, enjoy a light jungle walk where you may observe elephants bathing along the riverbanks.
Return to the resort for lunch at 13:30 hrs.
At 15:00 hrs, embark on an exciting elephant safari or jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park (depending on availability and park regulations). This is one of the best opportunities to spot wildlife such as spotted deer, sambar deer, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and, if you are lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. The dense sal forests and grasslands make this one of Asia’s richest wildlife habitats.
In the evening, return to the resort and enjoy either a Tharu cultural dance program or wildlife documentary slideshow presentation at 19:00 hrs.
Dinner will be served at 20:00 hrs, followed by overnight stay at the resort.
06:00 hrs – Wake-up call
Early morning, enjoy a peaceful bird-watching walk along the riverbank and surrounding Tharu villages. Chitwan is home to more than 500 species of birds, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.
After breakfast at 06:30 hrs, return to the resort for final packing.
At around 09:00 hrs, you will be transferred for your onward journey back to Kathmandu or Pokhara by tourist bus or private vehicle, depending on your travel arrangement. This marks the end of your Chitwan jungle safari adventure.
