Pisang Peak lies in the northern part of the Manang district in Nepal. It lies between the Annapurna ranges and Manaslu. it is a relatively simple peak climb that leads to Pisang Peak (6091m), the most popular trekking peak in the Annapurna region. Above the village, Pisang Peak rises as a slope in a uniform pattern to a snow and ice slope at its summit. Pisang Peak was first climbed by a German expedition in 1955, and it has since become a very popular mountain.

Pisang Peak Climbing considers itself an easy climbing peak, offering its climbers a fascinating journey through diverse ecosystems, cultures, and breathtaking landscapes, while still strongly recommending a fairly high level of fitness and health.

Among the trekking peaks in Nepal, climbers consider it one of the most natural climbing peaks. The path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to reach the base camp from Pisang village to a Kharka (4,380m) which is the ideal place for setting up the base camp. High Camp is set up at (5,400m) climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge.

Journey of Pisang Peak Climbing

The climb of Pisang Peak begins from Besisahar in the Marsyangdi River Valley. The path takes you through the distinct animals and plants and see the rewarding outstanding peaks of Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna, and Lamjung Himal.

The most significant Manaslu trek track meets at Dharapani while passing through Larkya La. The path from here demands a walk to Pisang Peak. this peak summit is easy compared with Chulu’s west peak and bit more difficult than Chulu far east peak.

Eventually, the trek will take you to a place where you can see the entirety of the Annapurna Himalaya range. The trail then rises from the Manang Valley to reach the top of the Thorang La Pass at 5416m. Hereafter, the famous temple of Muktinath awaits you.
